# Pastor Eli — Church Websites

> Custom-designed Next.js websites for small Independent Baptist churches and other Christian ministries, built and maintained by Pastor Eli (Elijah Desent). Each site includes an optional AI-powered content editor that lets non-technical pastors update their own website by chatting with ChatGPT or Claude.

## AI website editor (Model Context Protocol)

The AI editor is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that works in both ChatGPT and Claude. Once configured, a pastor can ask either one to edit their site in plain English ("Change the Sunday service time to 10:30am") and the change is committed to their GitHub repository. The live site updates automatically within ~30 seconds via Vercel. Editing works end to end in ChatGPT — it is not read-only there, and no separate Claude step is required.
